Grand river steelhead/trout fishing

Does anyone know if the steelhead or trout are in in the grand river yet? Also i have heard that there are kokannee salmon and pink salmon in lake erie, but are they common enough to actually devote hours of fishing to fish for? Any way, I am more interested in the trout and steelhead. I would like to hear of any spots that hold migrating trout or resident trout. Any help is really appreciated.

How far up The Grand do the Steelies go? I have never really thought about The Grand and if migratory fish use it.

Ive heard that the biggest and strongest steelhead get to the grand river exceptional waters paris. I don't think they get there till november or so. The good news is that steelies are open till december 31st from 100 metres below the highway 2 bridge in paris to lake erie.
