Disspatcher.

Grt.thx for the report. If you can post direction that would be great.thx

It escapes me - How did this end up in "Report section" of this web site ????
I mean, there is nothing in here that one report should have, - please see example here : http://www.ontariofishingforums.com...ead-report-example-of-an-off-report-t420.html

Do not get me wrong, while your contribution is somewhat helpful , saying fishing on grand river is (to me) just as saying "I was fishing in Ontario"....

So, Can you post bit more info on this, such as exact location where you were fishing, google map perhaps ?

Sorry halleb for the lack of info in my posts, I'm new to the etiquette of posting! In the future I will try to include as much information as possible! As to where I fish in the grand, it is in caledonia, about a mile up river from the dam, just past the campground. I would post a map if I knew how! We were slowly trolling rapala crankbaits (sr-5) in chartruese and firetiger color. the pike was caught about 4 feet from shore and hit the lure about 1 second after it hit the water. Next time out I will try the (sr-7) in the same color. Although I've had luck with other colors, I find with murky water the brighter the better. We were in approx 5-6 feet of water along the shore bouncing the cranks off bottom, Water temp was 72-73 but i'm sure it has dropped a little by now. I would give a time of day but I've had luck any time of day there, besides is there really any bad time to fish!! I hope this helps!!! cheers!!!

Thanks buckaroo - I appreciate this info very much, and I am sure that other members will like it too.

Perhaps, I can help you (for the future reports) with the maps. If you do not have already , you can download and install (it is free) Google Earth from http://earth.google.com/ . Once you have the program up and running, you can easily find the location where you were fishing , to save and use the map - then just click on : File > Save > Save Image ; such saved image you can upload to our gallery (or or other web site that offers pictures hosting) , and you link it in your report. Hopefully this will come handy to you.
