Went fishing in the grand river today been out since first light it was slow at first but I was able to land a couple Pike. But in the process I lost 3 lures on snags. I find It's really hard when fishing a river to not get snagged but when you do catch a good fish the payoff can be almost worth it

some people do it with out the rope also but I guess you could loose it if your line breaks
