Heading to that one park everyone goes to, need some tips!

Hey guys, so this week I really want to get out there and catch a trout. I love trout and I really want to catch a wild one. Ive got a slip bobber set up, if I use roe bags as bait do you think I have a good shot at getting anything? Every time Ive gone out so far this year and last year I wasnt able to find any fish

really depends on conditions...if you are unsure about what you are doing I would suggest using live worms. you will have a better chance to get some action..from dinks to the bruisers. good luck!

not the best place on the river or the best river to catch your first by far lol, its a hard river, requires a lot of foot work, polarized glasses are a must and waders would really help. Worms are good but you will be getting lots of small fish and i wouldn't purposely be fishing for those guys, big ones will take roe, worms, pinkies, cranks, spinners, the one good thing about that river is that because of the size, you can easily use cranks to get them which requires much less work if you ask me, (no need to properly set up split shots, floats, etc.) Just walk and look from the trail into the pools, as soon as you spot a couple start fishing, or you could be lazy and find a crowd where there will be fish but they probably won't hit, lol.

Thanks for the advice man. How far up/down should I go up the river from the park? Im not too familiar in the area and I would like the know the best way to walk it and still have access when I see a good spot.
