Hello all on off. I am new to the forum but after checkin it out ive decided to join n post! Great day on the river today hiked from wilkes darn straight down to the lorne bridge! Awesome fishing in some spots! Only negative out of thw day was dealing with all the trash along the river! Fisherman pick up your hook packs , worm container n whatever else you bring! The river is for all to enjoy but its hard to do when you feel like you fishing the city dump . Anyways there is my rant for the day haha but like i said hello to all looking forward to posting my adventures!

welcome 420..... hmmm "angler litter" , methinks 99.99% of such litter comes from the meathead angler, the lowest form of piscatorial primate on the fishermen evolutionary scale, mouth breathing, knuckle dragging etc.

Tonight while fishing I watched a carp angler gather up his gear (he looked like one of the ZZ Top band dudes!) and he pulled out a green garbage bag and began walking around the shore filling the bag! It was such a great sight to see. We all do it but to see someone else actually doing it! Whoa Nelly!

Welcome...It is sad to hear about the garbage we have the same problem here I try to get off the beaten track by canoe less people=less garbage.
But like my friend from Hamilton allways tells me if I only pick up and carry out one pop can during my canoe trip I have already done more than the litter bug!

Thanks all, yeah i always try to take alittle extra trash out when i leave. I really do need to get a canoe! The shore lines been great for learning this summer ! Anyone ever used the heritage canoe company? Thinking of renting on this week !
