Hello, I'm new to the forum. My name is Ken. I'm an Air Traffic Controller currently living in Ohio, but I grew up in Upper Michigan. I love the Canadian outdoors, and fishing. It reminds me of back home, U.P.
Last year I went to a friends lodge in the Mississagi river provincial park. I absolutely loved it! I don't think I'd ever leave if I didn't have to. Caught lots of Pike, and some decent lakers. He (my friend) told me all they had to fish for were the pike. I thought this was hard to believe so I brought a little gear to try for lakers and got a few good ones. This year I'll be going back with more laker gear!
Speaking of going back this year, the reason I joined this forum was to hopefully pickup some good techniques and ideas for catching fish there. I haven't fished for walleye or whitefish much and was hoping to try for them too.
