Hey gang,
I'm new to the site, just poppin' in to say "Hello".
Glad to see a forum for Ontarian Anglers. I'm in central Ontario (or Northern Ontario depending how far south you live), but I'm in the process of switching jobs which will take me to what I suspect may be the north-most city in Ontario.
I'm an avid angler and I practice catch and release 'almost' exclusively; I do occasionally keep a walleye or smallie for tablefare.
Typically I fish for what's most common up here; walleye, smallmouth, pike, and brook trout; I'll ice fish for walleye and yellow perch. There's 1 strip of water nearby where I've found a very healthy largemouth bass population, but they're not a species you'll find in the lakes up here. Once I move, muskie will be on my list 'to do' list, as I'll be situated on a very healthy muskie fishery.
At any rate. It's good to be here; I hope to learn some new things, and hope to be able to help others learn as well.
Cheers
