Hey my name is Dario, I'm 18, and live in milton. I have been actually fishing for about six years now and just started fly fishing a couple years back but havent gotten much experience with it since.
I'm hopin to fly fish a bit more but since my buddies I fish with do not fly fish its hard to learn by teaching yourself, but maybe eventually I'll get it!! ;)

Hi there!
Get out to a cool lake up north somehwere thats good for bass with your buddies camping for a few days, and take your fly gear with you and a dozen large frog and mouse patterns tied with weed guards. Fish thick into the weeds with your nearly completely weedless flies and crush big largemouth bass. By the end of the trip your buddies will be thinking about getting into flyfishin' ;)

Welcome to the site

Haha weird because me and my buddies are supposed to head up north either to around rice lake or lake scugog and doing some good ol bass fishing. Wasn't thginking about bringing my fly fishing gear but now i may!
And yeah maybe they will but they are too stuck on their float reels!

Hey there from a fellow Halton Angler. I've just taken up fly fishing this year, only been out once so far, but i try n practice often on the street. Should hit up bronte or 16 mile some time.

sorry for the late reply but I'm the same way, don't get out much but still practice as much as I can in my backyard! Sometimes I'll just practice casting into my pond and pull out some largies!

Haha yeah i have a small pond and there's little bass in it. Its fun once in a while to pull one out but for the most part it never crosses my mind. I would just much rather fish a bigger pond with bigger fish!

haha...but it could kinda get your fix haha

(i know super late, i've been without internet till today :))
