Hey guys new to the forum. I just moved here over the winter from the east coast. i went perch fishing few weeks ago and caught a nice laker so needless to say im hooked to ontario waters. So many fish with so many options. I am looking to hit niagra as it seems a beautiful place to fish. Any tips?

What will you be fishing for in the Niagara.? There is just about everything in it. Trout, pike, musky. carp, bass.

I have always been a trout and salmon fan as its what I am use to but I am always up to try something new. I more or less plan to be fishing year round so I figure I will try many areas and various species. What are details on musky? I assumed they would be more north.

Musky can be found down into the US. There are two types in the Niagara, Musky and Tiger Musky ( which are really neat looking pike/musky crosses) . A boat is really your best option for them because you have to cover a lot of water to get one, but they have been caught from shore.
The lower Niagara that is the river below Niagara Falls is famous for trout. Mostly Rainbow and Brown Trout.

Welcome to the forum. I was born and raised in Fredericton for first 25 years of my life. Also spent time in Saint John for college and an "Irving Job" before immigrating to Toronto.

Welcome--I have some NB stories not to mention the Irving fiasco...this is a great place for angling, you will appreciate the opportunities here.
