Hey everyone,

New forum member here, but avid angler from Vaughan. My favourite target species are bass, pike and panfish, and the occasional bottom-feeder. I mostly fish from shore (or, the past few years, on ice) and practice C&R almost exclusively. I'm on here to learn, share and exchange knowledge and experiences with like-minded individuals.

What type of setup do you use?

I use good ol' spinning gear. Setup varies based on my target. I use braid, and prefer using organic bait on most occasions, with some spoons and spinners and plastics thrown in the mix. How about yourself?

Some with you, spinning gear for me. I use mostly lures, but will switch over to live bait for panfish. I often go fishing on spur of the moment, and I live in Toronto, so it's hard for me to get live bait, that's why I fish lures almost exclusively.
