HI There,
Well, here's my intro....
Just getting back into fishing after a dozen year absence while caring for my father but now I have some time on my hands. Just bought a 3 year conservation license as I've always been mostly catch and release and just once in awhile take a few home for a fish fry.
Anyway, trying to find out the best online sources, bulletins etc.(including this one) to find out what areas are producing and what type of fish. This will help save gas by not driving all over like a chicken with my head chopped off. I live just south of London and hope to find some spots within an hour or so drive.I will be mostly shore fishing but have purchased a cheap kayak that I'll need to learn to use.
My second request is I'd also like to catch some species that I have never caught and have no idea of areas to find them. White perch, white bass, gar pike and dogfish(bowfin) are a few.
Hoping some of you more experienced & dedicated anglers can point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance
