6 till sunset. who wants in?
looks like today and thursday will be the best days out of the entire week to give it a go. sat and sun look okay too...but would probably be insanely crowded.
this will be more of a scouting mission to see the conditions and if they've really arrived yet.

fishing buddy and myself will be there.
we will be in either a black 99 civic si coupe or a 09 subaru impreza hatchback.
come say hi.

if i run into the crazy local, i will try to not hook him in the face. :roll:

Weather is still toooo cold for me (weather forecast for evening is -1 C or - 2 C with possibility of rain ) to go for night fishing. Good luck to you for your fishing trip.
 
hopefully it won't be that bad.
says evening feels like 5 and overnight feels like -1 for bradford.

i'm just going to be there for the dusk action if there is any :roll:

i just want something hanging off the end of my line.
 
You've tempted me quite a bit here.......I was thinking about going out to buy a new rod tonight, But if I have this feeling I might end up going there anyways.....
Not 100% sure, but if you see an 05 silver impreza sedan, then look for the asian guy near it!

i MIGHT wait til Thursday though....Not sure...
 
omg... i think i've seen you before.
it was late last year at port perry boat launch. my last outing of the year. i remember getting there with another buddy who fishes (drives a white 08 bmw 135i)
when we got there we saw someone get into a silver impreza and leave. bad sign as when people leave, fishing is usually bad haha.

that night my buddy landed a 42" muskie haha. i only had like 2 tiny crappies.

Ooph! Thats me~ Didn't know who you are...Can't believe that was you Lol. Remember that very well becuase its so Rare to see nice cars pull up there though :roll: I remember seeing you guys cast for a while and nothing either...So then I left

I don't remember which day it was, But I think I caught a super small crappie on the first cast, and then it was cold and freezing for the next 45 minutes, and then I left...Tried over at the big boat...like 1 min away, and there someone caught a musky too while I was at it, so it was time to pack it in...

And I actually doubt you will see me tonight, I just remembered I'm going to play volleyball tonight from 6-8, so maybe show up Thursday!!
 
I also wonder if keswick opened up yet, It looks like the bottom section of cook's bay is thawed now too. When I go on Thursday, and if I have time, I will check it out also!
 
you bet... was probably 5-7 boats in the water and the shoreline was littered with fishermen.
by the time we left, there were only a few left...but the boats were still there.
 
YES THEYRE IN!!! Going tomorrow Morning after i pick up the new compre, hope it doesn't rain too hard tmr morning!
And will be going on thursday too! Lol.

lucky you, a compre and the opportunity to fish tomorrow. I'm gonna try and get out there Thursday night.

btw, ff was it nonstop action or you had to work hard to find them? I've never actually been there before.

thursday should be perfect.
i will get there around 6-6:30...coming from mississauga after work during rush hour.... the things i do for crappies :roll:

edwin: what kind of compre? UL? that would be awesome.

flash_kid: worked hard for the few fish landed.... fingers were absolutely frozen. My fish were tiny and all released, but I witnessed some very decent ones being caught.
I have a feeling it's gonna be a while before the quantity gets here... with all the rain, i'm not sure how that's going to affect things. hopefully the action will still be hot after the rain clears next week.

Good for you, I am yet to catch fish this year (but I went out only 2 times only). Which place (spot) on Holland river did you visit today ?
 
halleb, check the GTA section... I've posted a few reports last year and one for this year. all the same spot...all teh details you need...parking, where the fish are, castable areas... :roll:

All right - you are talking about Bradford , right. There is one report from you today and some from last year, as well as some posted by efka. I know where it is. Will go there when get a chance - I guess this is my chance to catch my first fish this year.
