BTW, don't be surprised if you end up getting your first pike there. Yes, they are out of season, but they get caught while crappie fishing all the time.

I will be out there next week probably, I have never fished there before.
Be heading from Brampton up Hwy 10 across 88 or 89?
Are there any parking spots? Or do I drvie along the river and look for cars?
I have an ultralight setup Quatum Catalyst 10, St. Croix UL rod, 4lb test mono, should that be okay?

i'm not sure of the quickest way to get there from brampton, but use google maps and look for bradford. you'll see the river and by the time you get there you'll see the cars and everyone fishing.
it's hard to miss.

sure am bud...not bradford, but keswick.

i have me, my gf, my fishing bud, my other fishing bud, and another good friend coming. we plan to get there around 6:30 am. claim some territory and have a blast... it's been a long time since i've fished with some of those guys...good memories. :cry:

honestly this will probably one of the last trips before kawartha opener.

got some other info, but i'll pm it to you.
