I got back from horwood lake and had a fantastic time, Richard will tell you where to fish and follow his advice also watch where the other camp boats go and fish near where they are, there were bear hunters in the camp and we would go down to the dock at dusk and see what they had got, that was cool. My wife who was worried about the showers was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the whole camp and she did not have a single complaint which was a nice and out of character. I am not sure why others post about other places they have went when you asked about horwood lake but don't worry about your choice plus some people don't like planes and plus I brought my own boat so I'm not sure how they would drag it behind the plane. The lake has some nice bays and we fished for pike in them with crank baits and the colour blue was hot, not big pike but fun none the less but big ones are in there trust me I bent my net on one. Wind was a bit of a issue with my boat but he lent us a 20lb anchor and with my 15lb we were set.
