Egg Sinkers and Large Hooks.
Spooked the hell out of the fish. It was retarded...

So, getting back to the topic of things...
Any advice to offer when fishing for salmon at night? Obviously the float method is tossed outta the window. I figure even if I add a glow stick, the salmon would be spooked by it.
I've tried to fish the floating method, but without the float and majority of the times they're snags. It's not a problem, I let them go since my intention is not to keep them anyways.
I just want to reduce my line snapping and also get better hook sets. Someone told me that if you hook them by the mouth, they tire a lot more quickly than snagging them on any part of their body.
