Some what popular in the States for panfish... long extendable rods with just a tippet of line at the end. If my deteriorating mind serves me right, some of these rods reach lengths of 30 feet. Bring that to the eastern tributaries :lol:
I think LeBaron used to sell 3 or 4 piece 15' carp rods. If memory serves me correct, they were fibreglass, no guides the line ran inside the rod blank and there was a built in tiny reel at the base. I don't buy their catalogs anymore so I don't know if they still sell them. I was even thinking of converting one to a steelhead rod but never did........lol.
