First pier salmon... I estimate 30-35 lbs. She hit between 8:00 and 8:30 and gave one hell of a fight.

Nice fish bud! They fight a lot better off the piers. Dont know about 30lbs though id put it closer to 20-25. :p

hit @ 830 but you posted at 8:30?

Lots of people fishing there to? Bottom bouncing?

You definetely look proud! Nice fish!

nice fish bro!! allways thougt about fishing the mouth of the humber but never stopped. will have to give it a shot some time
thanks for the info

Great Catch my Friend!

Well Done.

I`d give it 20 lbs. But who`s counting.

Anything over 20 is a killer.

GO GET SOME MORE KILLER!

Thanks for all the compliments. I'll give some background info... I've been fishing this spot on/off for the past 2-3 weeks and only on that night did I catch a fish. I have seen others catch some fish from there, but there are no real late-night crowds like there are at Port Credit - so, if you want some breathing room, probably a good place to go. No one as far as I know bottom bounces there, everyone is usually chucking spoons or J13's. I caught mine on a spoon. I was told that a lot of fish like to hit earlier in the day (12pm-4pm) which is sort of surprising. Definitely worth checking out!

One problem I will mention are the boaters, they will drive right into the area you're casting with no hesitation - these moments upset me and I try to let them know that I'm fishing there with a stern angry face and possibly a shaking fist. Just keep that in mind, but I think a lot of sea-doers will be wrapping up since the temperatures are dropping. I also have another photo of the fish where I was photo-bombed by some unknown woman - beware of this as well.

Women love a man who can fish it seems... first Blair and the trio of girls and now you getting mysterious women closing in on you...

Nice Fice and thanks for sharing...

Never been down to the Humber and might go down there and see if I get lucky...
You're right about credit as there are guys shoulder-to-shoulder bottom fishing and chucking spoons/j-13's
