Humber River Sunday, april 05

Hey all. Went fishing to the Humber this morning, Tangledline accompanied me on this venture. Needless to say...all that rain made the Humber muddier than usual, and it was flowing like a mother #$%^&*. We threw Spoons, meps...imitation roe bags of differnt sorts, on different weights and depths. Came away with nothing, although we did see our fare share of fish...11 or 12 in total, but because of the dirt factor, you could only see them when they broke the surface...so they are there, and thats promising...hopefull we get acouple of days of no rain, the Humber should flow clearer if that happens.

i think it's safe to stay off the rivers for now.

ouchh, David, there was too much rain yesterday to fish rivers....Probably a better choice would be to go panfishing elsewhere

Ya we know it was iffy to hit the Humber...but we only had acouple of hours to get out, and seeing as we don`t have a vehicle between us, the TTC is the only way we get around to fish, so fishing pan fish is outta the question, so if I gotta go to a muddy river on a beutifull morning, then thats what I hafta do if I wanna get my line wet...we were seeing Steelheads coming up. and we were south of the bloor bridge.
