These videos are of the same humpback whale that I posted the pictures of in the photography contest:

In the beginning of this video, you can see the boat that is in one of the pictures I posted earlier.

Nice, no wonder back in history they thought the sea was full of sea monsters and serpants! Maybe it was?

Excellent vid openfire, wow, I gotta do that one day ! They're such big creatures, makes you wonder what else we have living in the ocean :)

imagine if people fished for whales, and i dont mean with a harpoon i mean with a line and hook

Cool, gotta love Cape Breton, one of my buddies lives out there. Will make the trip one day.

I definitely recommend it. Over the last 2 summers I've pretty much seen the whole east coast and Cape Breton was one of most beautiful places. As the locals will tell you, you must do the Cabot trail - give yourself at least 2 days... we did it in one day and it wasn't enough time to fully enjoy everything.

bala, that's a funny thought. What would you use for bait? lol

I guess you wouldn't call it "fishing", it would be "mammaling".

Now mind you, the laws of physics would prevent you from ever landing one with a rod and reel.
