Seems like some of the lake o tribs have a bit of action right now. Would any of the Huron tribs/mouths have Chinook or Coho this time of year? I want to make the drive tomorrow morning but it's a 3hr drive and only my 2nd drive there. Want to know from anyones experience if it's worth it.

Thanks!

Feel free to PM if needed. (Much appreciated)

Your best bet is to wait for a good rain and have a good push of fish to come in. Im sure a few are around like needles in haystacks. You might get lucky! Only you will know if the 3hr drive can be justified, personally. There is some beautiful water up there... ;)

Was out to a couple Huron mouths this weekend. Personally couldn't find fish but if you're there early enough theres a few around the mouth. Like fish heads said next big rain should have a good push just a matter of time.

Heading down there tomorrow. Still nothing on the west trib that's a 5 min walk away from my house. Checking daily after work. Status is low clear water no fish in the lower sections. Although fish are being hit at the mouth as of a few days ago

Got back today from a overnight in the Huron area. Hit three lower tribs (+one night time mouth spoon chucking session) with my dad. The first two had no chinnys. We got into some future steel on our 3 weights but that's another story. Last one had some fish in small numbers. My Dad got into one but lost him. Overall a decent scouting trip with a little fly fishing on the side.

Can't wait til the Huron tribs heat up. Gonna be doing a lot of camping in that area
