Hey guys. Haven't been on much since the spring run.

Back in April/May, every year I tell myself, who cares about the kings in the fall when the steel fishing is this hot right now.

And now here I am in July...... anxiously waiting for the beasts to make their annual retreat to the tribs. I realize I know exactly what I am eagerly awaiting:

-Really early mornings on the days meant for sleeping in
-"Buddy" jumping in your pool
-Buddy then crossing your line, multiple times
-Someone screaming at someone, fairly consistently
-Losing fish
-Poachers
-ETC.

But none of that over powers the:
-Time on water with friends and family
-Bankside brews
-Bankside 'gars
-And that feeling when she bends over!!!

Tightlines fellas. Won't be long.

Yes!

Cool summer evenings under moonlight on the calm water. Just a few hundred metres off shore, well away from the bustle of the jetty and other boats jamming the channel. The rod bends, the struggle, the line rips, the breakoffs, the netjobs, the victory, the heart break.

Salmon Season!

come on down pump, could always use some more company down at the lighthouse to keep the crazies away!

I have no idea how that one can write in the black of the night..........

The problem is I don't drive even though I have my G
The hardest part of fishing is finding the $ and free time to be able to afford to drive, and take time off to fish :)
