Very nice fish gentlemen ... they sure are beauties , hopefully I'll be hitting 'em in a couple of weeks , when winter goes back into hiding ... As for the white powdery stuff , I know what it is and I've got enough to keep my grass totally covered up here.
Calling for possible squalls tomorrow , boo - hiss ...

Nice fish, JCPT!

NS---did you get out a few days ago? Any luck?

Negative ... I really wanted to but the river was still quite deep in the places where I would have to wade . So I passed it up .
Soon I hope after all this snow stops , but then they say rain next week , high 7 , the spring is so touch and go , so unpredictable .

There's reports of fish starting to stage everywhere! Early spring! A buddy of mine fished the mouth of an eastern lake O trib today and said they were comming in steady. Winter steelheading may be over and spring chromers may be starting! Wahoo!!!

How long typically will they stay in the rivers during spring?

There was a nice run not to long ago here in the east, lots of fish and not many people fishing ;) Those fish are far upstream by now.

Nice pictures OP. That spot is awesome.
