Hey guys outdoorkindaguy here, I have been dying to fish all weekend but the rain is killing me. The spots I usualy fish are the Nith and the Grand rivers but they are over flowed.
Can any of you chaps let me in on some other spots around. I am mostly into carp fishing around here, also crappie. Bass is always an interest also.

Thanks and FISH ON,

outdoorkindaguy.

.... I am in the same sinking boat my friend.... for 6 weeks now my creeks and rivers have been toast... soggy toast.

let us pray for a sunny warm September and October

god I'm dyin' here

I was at whiteman's today with no luck. Was fly fishing for 8 hours with no success. The water was pretty high too, but not muddy. Stillvery waddable though. IDK if you go there but give those trout a shot.

Thanks for the advice about whitemans. I do go there but when I do I tend to see too many other anglers. Thats probably why I stay away. Dont get Me wrong, I know there are other access points other then where I go. Being across from apps. I am interested in other spots, and once again thanks for the info.

Whats wrong with the Grand? Sure the water is a bit high, but telling you here and now, the Bass, Pike and Cats don't care. The Gar are still absolutely nuts for some reason, not gonna complain.
I also had 2 bowfin about 5 lbs each visit me today  :D . They fight like they are demons from hell.

There was about 4 other anglers the whole time. If you go into that triangle that cleaver rd and robinson rd make, that's where the best fishing is i beleive. It is also protected, so single barbless hook and no organic bait i think those signs said. On cleaver if you park at the bridge there is good fishing on either side.

i think fishing chocolate milk for me is more mental on my part, a block of sorts. I shall try my rattling plugs this week.....

...they attracted me so fingers crossed. Noobler, did I ever mention in the past what the rattle plugs cost or what type they are? lol!

ok, old joke

I just got back from fishing the Grand not even an hour ago. I went 1in3 for Pike, also got a couple Bass. The only frustration was keeping my lure on track. Waters high like you said. Be cautious
