I love storms! gonna get some wicked pics
the sky wasn't actually flashing blue/green that was happening from the transformers and as they blew they were sending out sparks and massive surges through the wires. My area has like 3cm of ice on everything, you could have a hockey game on my driveway (tested by me lol) its crazy, the plows aren't doing anything and they don't even salt down the roadstuhlapsss said:In my area there are a bunch of fallen limbs covered in about 1 or 2 CM of ice, power surges every few minutes, and the sky flashes blue and green for some reason. it is a mess out there. be careful and try staying indoors!
what we do is run the car for 10 minutes and leave all the vents to the windshield and then just spray with washer fluid and its all good to go. oh ya my place had 2 massive surges and theres a transformer literally right out my bedroom window. YIKES. after about 5 mins my power came back but my wifi, tv and phone didn't work and still isn'tKnuguy said:Too late to help River55, but 1 way to remove ice is to use a pan/pail of warm( 'hottish') water and a cloth to loosen it up and make scraping easier
