Inflatable boat registration?

I was planning on getting an inflatable boat 12' with a small electric trolling motor (probably around 3hp).
But im not sure if i needed to register it with that set up. Do i have to put the some sort of serial # on the bow for it?

Even if you're supposed to, as long as you're not breaking the law when you get stopped and have a smile on your face you'll be fine.

I'm sure you could find that info on some gov. website.

The rule I believe is that you do not have to register any boat as long as the motor is less than 10 horsepower. This information is likely on the ministry of transportation website.

thank you very much for the reply guys, my boat came in today and i just bought the motor for it. a small minn kota trolling motor.
I cant wait to get out there and land me a big one and post some reports with pics
