Is the ice on cooks bay still good for this weekend?

Was wondering if anyone has been to cooks bay this week and if the ice was good. Hoping to get out on Saturday or Sunday.

yes, its still good, trucks driving around everywhere, last time i was out, the gas auger was barely long enough to go through, the handles were touching the snow! It will still be a while until its un-safe, you're good to go!

parts of scugog have 34+ inches of ice on them, think you're good on simcoe until mid april at this rate
