Hello to all. I've check out this forum for a while, it seems to be very active compared to some and there seems to be a lot of members that really know their stuff so i decided to sign up hopefully I can learn a lot and maybe be of some help to some. I've fished for quite some time and I love fishing for anything and everything but I do have a soft spot for salmon and trout. There's nothing like getting out on a crisp morning and drifting a roe bag or a fly and watching that float go down...ooohh...gives me shivers lol. I very rarely keep anything for the table (maybe one per year) so I mainly practice C&R but even C&R has to be handled properly after all what's the point in fighting a fish to within an inch of it's life and just removing the hook and let it go right? It'll just be dead a little further down stream, so i'm sure I don't have to tell most of you to handle your fish with great care, don't fight it too long and nurse it until it's strong enough to swim away with some vigor, maybe our kids can catch that fish later on or it's babies. That's it for now.
