A buddy and I are heading out of the town of Killarney for 5 or 6 days, in the first week of Oct. If it is not too rough, we will be crossing over to Collins Inlet and Mill Lake. We plan on camping right on the boat (22' Searay) in various inlets and bays. Our fishing experience has been mostly Great Lakes Salmon, Trout, and Walleye. I am told that this area holds good Musky, Pike, and Walleye. Problem is that we have very little experience for these, especially this time of the year.
Does anybody have any fishing advice. Should I take the downriggers? We will be taking along a 10' Zodiac with an electic motor as well.
