no bro not that, its look like trout but they got small mouth at the skin is silver and its too slippery when you hold it in erindale park i catch a lot of it but i release it.. its not a trout i know but i dont know what kind of fish is that
they are so plenty here in erindale park in one worm i think i got 15 of them ...

Was it a shad? I caught one a while back and had no idea what it was, silver with a bit of blue and it's head looked like a trout.

I went about 1 and a half moths ago and saw this one guy with a stick ,hook and line and he caught a tiny silver fish during salmon season. I thought everything else was gone?

Well, if they are taking the worm like crazy, my best guess is that it might have been a white sucker?

Depending on size, most likely a sucker. I love how you Emphasize that you released it as you release all your catches :S

Then again you could have just been catching really big Shiners lol..

I mean after all how big is big ?

Also what is sandfish ? never heard of em here in Ontario anyway.. unless that's what you call gobies...

Hi Sashing,

I was reading the forums and noticed your photo holding a nice common carp.

Do you do a lot of carp fishing here in Ontario..? I'm new to Canada, been here about 18 months but have done a lot of sessions on some of the big European waters and looking for some carp waters over here.

Best regards

Colin.
