Hey OFF,

I was wondering if anyone with a boat was looking to go out fishing on a lake not too far from the markham area at Lake Dalrymple where I know some really good spots but I do not have my boat to take out so was looking for a "partner" for the day and I would pay for gas and go in depth with tips on how to fish certain bass baits/pike baits and give some of my product knowledge. I was hoping to be on the water latest 8 AM. If anyone is interested and has a boat that can fit two guys with preferably a trolling motor at the front of the boat for some bass fishing, that would be amazing.

Thanks

I went fishing there almost 10 years ago with my friend and his father. I ended up catching a 5ish lb pike. Not sure if that's a great size fish to folks around here, but at the time I was 14 and had only caught sun fish--so I was ecstatic.

Anyways, I just gave them a call as I want to start fishing again. It's $100 for the day and you get a gas tank or $80 for 5 hours. They provide life jackets and safety kits, I forgot to inquire as to whether or not you have to pay for those as well.

the lake is actually great for pike fishing and has some monster bass from my experience up to 7 lb largemouth caught. I dont want to rent a little tinner as i dont feel like just drifting. I like to stand and cast.

I've been fishing up there for years. Used to be a pretty good walleye lake before all those hammer handle pike started showing up and killed the fishery
