Lake Mistinikon

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this lake ? its located near Matachewan Ontario, just west of Kirkland Lake
i'm having the pleasure of going there this coming weekend for a glorious week of nothing but fishing. theres a group of 20 of us that will be staying at the camp (Horseshoe Island)
this is my 5th year going with this group and although i'm somewhat familiar with the lake itself , i'm curious to know about some of the surrounding lakes.
this fish of choice is usually pickeral, but i'm kinda partial to landing those monster pike that seem to attack just about anything you toss at them.
when i get back from the trip i'll be sure to post some pics of my experience this time around......

I have also stayed there several times, usually first week of june/ late May. There is a rock face south of the cabin on the east side, with an island to the right about 5 mins from the cabin (I know, tough to explain and my directions could be a million spots up there). I grabbed a nice 10lbs Pic from there, usually a very active spot. I always hit that spot as it never fails.
