Got skunked early today at Port Maitland, jigging, bobbers and casting. Drove out to Lake Naipenco, winds were too heavy to do much at the south/east entrance. Drove around to Tynside entrance and walked down to the lookout stand. Fished up a few Mudcats with shiner/worm bobber rigs.

I thought that name was Binbrook. Never tryed there even though it is so close. Besides the cats and bass, i have heard there are pike and some crappie there. Yes or no?

Alfie.

Some pike and crappie but imo it's over fished. Went there ice fishing in january and nothin.

Ya its definently overfished, tons of small crappie and a few walleye and pike, but for some reason i always do well on largemouth there. If it wasnt for the carp and the overfishing it would be a decent lake

I think a lot of people like to go in the conservation entrance, might be better to go around to the Tynside entrance and walk down. They were jumping like crazy while we were there (by the lookout structure)
Most likely carp...in that area its just loaded with them.

There are some nice carp there, but none too large in my experience. It's a good convenient place, but not that much of an angling destination in my opinion. Although that is the place where I first got hooked into fishing.
