Merry Christmas everyone!

I was wondering if lake simcoe is a good lake for walleye ice fishing? I heard that there are plenty of perch to ice fish. That sounds promising for walleye. Does anyone know any good spots on tips for walleye ice fishing at lake simcoe?

Thanks

Walleye are rarely targeted in Lake Simcoe through the ice. If you catch one it is usually because you got lucky!

x2. if you wanna target them best bet is to just fish at night in the same spots you'd fish perch (15-25 fow). if you want eyes go to scoogog

If you can drive a little further go up beaverton and head east...further east...it's walleye country but have never ice-fished there.
