just imagine, we stayed at 1 pool for 13 hrs and everyfish we caught was a different one.
thats alot of fish in 1 pool

just below of 20 each landed, if you look at the dawn picture(with the hen) there is a massive tree beside the pool holding the fish and we lost twice as many fish on it than we landed. went back up there today and most fish have started their trek back into the lake! this was a trib off duffins creek btw~

i think i was at the same river as you on opening day. I didnt get to fish where i wanted cause there was alot of people when i got there in the morning, so I went to the next Road/Line and got a few. My friend and I ended up walking alot tho. We went back 2 days in a row after that and the water level got a lot higher than it was on opening. Didn't get any after that. We also tried a couple of river around there and spot a bunch, but tried for hours and none of them even came close to hitting roe, worms, and flies.

The one you got in those pictured and nice and silver compared to the ones we got which were already black when we pulled them out of the water. We kept a 4.5lbs and made a fire and ate it there before we went home. We walked so much that we got too hungry to make it back to the car so we decided to eat one.
