whats your fave tapered leader/ tippet combo--not the rating i mean manufacturer--and why do you like it?

i find there tippet is good but there leaders have been crap the last few i have picked up are unusable out of the package but i ment i liked rio and frog hair but orvis sucks its degrades really quickly

i mostly use the scientific anglers tapered leaders with the loop, very easy and fast connection when you have a loop on the fly line as well

and yes, fly fishing can be addictive, you're always searching for that magic fly, but truth be told, you don't NEED more than 2 rods in you your arsenal, 5-6 wt for trout, and an 8wt for windy days, and larger fish, such as bigger bow, pike, salmon, muskie, anything else is just a want

Any type or style of fishing "requires" multiple rods once the needle is in the vein! Every year I say I'm not buying another fishing rod. No sooner have I ordered a loomis off ebay, now I'm on the search for a baitcaster for it lol...

If my river habit becomes anything like my lake habits I'm going to need a storage locker just to store all my rods... rods.jpg

PM me with what you think its worth to you--we will discuss...lol i also have a vendetta rod if you like

just not gonna use it--have only used the baitcaster once--for five minutes--just isnt my thing
