Line class record?

Hey forum members,

I've been trying my darnedest to find out a line class record for lake trout. I recently caught a 30lber on 6lb test line (estimated 30lb, 39" long 25" girth). Is there any member that has access to the records to find out what the 6lb test line class record is for lake trout? (for World, Canada, Ontario?) If anyone could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hey Brendan, I have bad news about the Canadian and world record fish. A 44 lb laker was landed on 6 lb line in Lake Athapap, Manitoba on June 11 1997.
I had no luck at finding an Ontario Record.

Sorry about that, it must have been fun though. Alfie.
