Hey guys i will be going to Little Lake in Barrie to fish for some pike, they open at 5:30 am and if you take 400 north and get off at exit 102 i believe make a left and just go straight you will see the lake and the boat rental place. address is 76 little lake drive barrie.

when i return i will post pictures in this thread with results.

Little Lake is a decent place for pike....I wouldn't expect trophy sizes....based on personal experience, there are far better place if you want pike.

yeah can't forget about Lake Ontario. Some real monsters in there

Don't overlook little lake for pike, there are millions of hammer handles but every year I have produced fish in the 10-15lb range with 1-5 lbs being average. You can't compare the fishery to Lake Simcoe or Lake Ontario, the forage isn't the same so the odds of getting a giant are slim to none. As for walleye, they are rare in little lake, you only hear of a couple being caught every year.
