Thanks to Frozenfire for this, his first report.

There was originally some question as to whether this was pond 17 or 18, but as confirmed in later messages, this is in fact pond 18.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I headed to this pond yesterday morning (Aug 10th). I was there in the morning for about an hour to an hour and a half. Arriving at about 10 AM, I fished the shores all alone. Kind of strange for me, since this would be the first and only time I've ever fished alone, or without my girlfriend. There was some sweet parking across the street from the pond, so access is very good. Walk for about a minute or so to reach the pond and you can start fishing right away. You have to go through some bush however . I fished the north side without any luck, but after I hit the west side of the pond, the action was non-stop. I landed about 20-30 LM bass.... I am NOT exaggerating. Even though the fish were all about a foot long ,the action was incredible. I only took pics of the first few fish, after that, it kind of got repetitive taking the pics hahaha, cause all teh fish looked the same. There was no other species caught that day. THe pond may be small, but it is full of small bass. The larger ones were about a pound each and I landed about 3 of them. The others were skinny hungry ones. Here are the pics that I took to show you guys my short trip.

went here once @~7pm. caught 3 small lm bass with white inline. saw some carp on south shore.

This pond is full of smaller sized bass. For those who were interested in keeping native bass at home in an aquarium, I recommend going here for some smaller sized ones :)
