Oh, great idea. I didn't know they had clips for the flies. I thought about a micro-swivel as well too. I'll give the swivels a try first. I'm using floating line at the moment and will see how the turns out.
 
I've gotten away without using a tippet thus far... however, I'm not fishing for trout and have not needed to change up my flies too often on the water, so it really doesn't make a difference to me. I guess it all depends on what you're doing exactly.

Some good reading. I just got my set up this year, only been out once, and i had cut my original leader down to like 4 ft lol, so i just got some more leaders today, I'm not to sure what im going to fish with tomorrow. This fly fishing seems like it takes a long time to get the hang of it. I look forward to understanding this better lol.
 
I was lucky yesterday to have fished in a small body of water. Roll casting was quite manageable. I would definitely have troubles casting in larger water systems.
