Lately ive been quite lazy to drive out more than half an hour to fish, so back to Heart Lake we go...here are some pictures of fish we caught over a 2 day span. Most, of not all of these fish were caught on Stanley Jig Ribbit frogs. I dont know what it is about these frogs over the YUM buzzfrogs or the Ragetails, but they produce noticeably more strikes. We even caught several 6" + rockbass with these frogs (not shown)

We start small off the shore.

Those are some very nice fish. Too bad we couldn't connect with any on shore that evening.

the fish are terrific..you got the lake down to a science...
but...where are your life jackets?????
do people not drowned in that lake every couple of years?
the weeds make it dangerous....
please take care...
wicked fishing otherwise...

Thanks guys for the comments. However it seems that the bass here don't get much bigger than the ones shown today. Well I havent found them yet anyways.

And yea I know we are supposed to have them on at all times, but man was the sun hot that day, and the aluminum boat didnt help. However we put them back on when we started rowing again. :(
