Most expensive lure you have lost?

Ouch...So did me and my dad checking out a new Lake Trout lake that went up and down like a yo yo it was an expensive day...and we ended up jigging! :shock:
 
I went fishing tonight and the guy fishing beside me lost 4 live target "Blue Gill" crankbaits. The sad part about it is that he casted all four to the same spot!
 
snagged a husky jerk while fisihng for pike,,there deadly..i was so pissed off cus the day before i lost an xrap..not the small ones..but the large size...i wsa fishing off a dock..few min i see the lure surface up..about 20 - 30 feet ahead. so i tied on top water lure..and had some casting practice...after a few casts i was able to hook the the husky jerk and retrieve it back to my safe tackle box hahaha...good times :)

but ya when i started fishing i lost some decent mepps spinners...some booyah spinnerbaits..tht was bad...noob moves. oh well..u learn from ur mistakes.

Hahaha, awesome!

I once snagged a Rapala while shore fishing, lo and behold is was the exact same lure I was casting with!

I guess he never learned to not cast to that spot, you'd think he'd learn after losing the second one....lol. There's probably a whole tackle box of lures in that one spot from the same guy........lol Noob you remember the spot? I'll go diving after them.......lol. Or run chains underwater to snag the lures.........lol.

speaking of Frugling.... just ordered online from Bass Pro.... because i ordered over 75 bucks I get it shipped right to my door for FREE and because the order was over $125 I can pay it off in monthly installments spread over 6 months....

now that's sweet!

no fuss no muss no gas no crowds, just me shopping in my underwear from the dining room table :D

You wouldn't want to go swimmimg in the water at this spot, too many birds crap in it...

After he lost the first 2 I told him he might want to check his knots. After he lost his third I told him that his line might be frayed. After he lost this fourth he asked me what knot I am using.\, I reply saying Palomar, he says I'm using two overhand knots! :D Lets just say I felt like a pro after that and he learned a new knot!

Did you happen to see if he had his Shoes Tied Up? Maybe he had Boots on with No Laces? :unsure:

I don't remember what shoes he was wearing but I would not be surprised if they were slip on. :D

I think it was his first time fishing, cause all he had was a rod (with a reel and line) and his 4 crankbaits left in the package. I can see why he thought that he needed 4 (in case you lose one), he probably walked into a CT and picked out what looked good. :shock:
