Anyone heard of that place. I was shocked at how big the fish were in that pond, bass, carp, and stocked rainbows. They stocked it with bigger trout this year. I think people take dont catch and release though. Next year I got a secret bait that will catch me all of them in sight. A fun enviroment to be in when you feel lazy.

I never understood nor will ever understand why people actually TRY to catch bluegill/crappie. They are the most infuriating fish, and I do my best to avoid them, along with sunfish.

Mount pleasent road in mount pleasent near downtown brantford downstreet of the windmill look for a sign that has an abstract fish on it. Not on google, please practice catch and release leave them for everyone else, tell me if you catch one over 8 inchs. Be careful they will swallow the hook.

Fishing89. When it comes to bluegill angling the joy of it not catching the fish, it is setting and breaking old records, realizing why you like fishing and only using basic techniques to catch your little trohy. After a while you begin to be able to guess the size of the fish as you are reeling it in, a sign that you need bigger game.

ooooh that's a little too far. I live in mississauga. Do u know of any good crappie/bluegill fishing spots in the gta?

thanks

well it depends on how big the fish are, id gladly trade a 12 lb brown for a 14 inch crappie or bluegil! they taste great but the big ones are very hard to catch, the small ones are easy to catch even on a plain hook but the big ones actually take skill.

Ahhhh, I dont know where you are fishing, but I would take a 12 brown trout over 10 inch bluegill anyday.I have a strong liking for bluegill but I have caught a lot of bluegill that are 8 inchs. A big heavy trout would be more appealing on a picture.

holy s#$% i went bass fishing once and i was slamming massive blues and rock bass lol the bigger sunfish fight better than largess of the same size

guys you are talking about bluegil, I'm saying crappie, theres a big difference, one bites everything the other rarely looks at your bait, lol but a 14 inch bluegil is still pretty good, i catch a lot and i mean alot of browns from both the east tribs and the g-bay tribs and they are not very appealing to me anymore, try fishing east late october, brown after brown, everyone loves crappie though and they are great to eat too!

Yeah I know how difficult it can be to get a lot of big crappies. As soon as I fished a bigger lake where there was a fair bit of them, I got some biggger ones. I find spinners, and small native looking minnow lures effective when catching them if you dont want to use a worm.
