My 3rd attempt at Sir. Wooly bugger

Looks like a good bugger to me. I have for a while now not concerned myself with exact imitation. I found that if my flies are a little ruff around the edges at times that make my flies more attractive. Thats why I love tying flies. Just make things that look buggy. Works for me.

its how the hairs ear nymph was made is it not? not based off of anything, just looks like a bug
