Catch like 5 small to medium perch and put in a pot of hot water with some ginger and chives and whatever flavour you like in soups. Make sure you cut the head of perch off and clean out the organs. Leave the bones. Put the perch into hot water. Boil a soup. The soup tastes very good. The cooked perch meat is sweet. You may add soy sauce or vinegar. I don't add anything. If bigger perch then you can use fewer perch. Ie. 2 perches.
