Need float rod advise

Hey all. I have a 13' stream side tranquility and love it. But I want to get something more packable to take on the motorcycle. I have decide on the shimano clarus after reading a ton of good reviews and the price is rite. Should I get the 11'3" or 13'? I was thinking the 11'3" because I already have the longer one. But the long the rod the easier on leaders. Plus with the multiple connection I'm worried about it snapping. So people who have maybe used both or used rods in these ranges. Which should I get?

Id go 11'3 if you are looking for packability, you wont notice in hand the difference on your leaders and if you plan on keeping your tranq why buy another 13 that accomplishes the same purpose. As long as your male and female ferrules are always tight there shouldn't be any worry of your rod breaking.

you dont need another 13' and that shorter rod might come in handy for other applications as well as being a travel rod.

I have the 11'er and I use it mostly on opener/back creeks. Easy to break down, easy to tronce through the bush with and lots of back bone.
