I was at BPS on the weekend and there was a fishing pro demonstrating this brand new lure by Rapala in the big fish tank. (hooks off of course)

The lure is called the Sub-Walk and it looks DEADLY.

This is a top-water bait that goes just beneath the surface. (Maybe 6" beneath)

I will definitely be trying this lure once Bass season opens. Check this out:

Is it available for sale at BPS?
I'm going to head there tomorrow and might as well check it out!

It should be since they were pimpin' the lure at BPS... Let me know if you see it for sale. I am interested to know how much $ it will be.

wasn't there... at least I couldn't find it.

and they ran out of curado's :D
i ended up not getting much... just a couple of normal xraps and some little cleos.

Hmmm... more X-Raps? Did you lose all to pike last year? :D
Hmm... more Little Cleos? Already itching for salmon? It's not end of summer yet.

This year, I sure am gonna toss spoons much earlier. Probably get atleast another months more out of it :D

Which baitcaster rod do you plan to get? or have? 1 piece? two? My cheap-o BPS brand 6'6" MH is nice that it is stiff but way too stiff for tiny fish I catch. Unless I get a good size fish,,, rod like to stiff on me and cause line to slack.

No haha... didn't lose any to teh pike last year.
I picked up a white ghost and hot pink one. Girlfriends colours. She tends to have the magic touch. Catches more fish than me all the time haha.

I lost quite a few Cleo's last year, and since they were on sale, I decided to stock up instead of paying regular during salmon season. They also always run out of stock on the 3/4 oz too haha.

I currently have this MH fenwick trigger stick or something like that. Does teh job, but wanted something better. I guess I'll wait and see what happens.

Le Baron's got the sub walk in a few weeks ago, was going to pick two of them up, but got another rod instead.
They were going for $8-$9 I believe.
