Bass! Pike! Muskie!
Good tips you guys!! I have a Garcia Mitchell 3300 and it use to drive me nuts! ONE Birds Nest is ONE to many. Then I learned as mentioned above.
I had the Tension set to light. It would Birds Nest before it even hit the water! (Lure slowing down, Reel Not)
As mentioned before EVERY TIME you change the Lure or just starting for the day. Hang the Lure over the side of the boat and play with the Tension until it Just Barely falls on it's own then tighten it back a little.
Also once and a while when you are fishing especially after you've just landed that 35 Pike or Muskie!!
Haven't tried one of the "Anti Backlash" ones but after reading above ........ Bass Pro! Here I come!! :grin: :grin:
