New to Fly Fishing

Im currently in the KW, I work at a local restaurant and have lived here for three years. In conversing with customers throughout the restaurant it seems fly fishing is more popular. I havent cross over to that side but I mostly fish the grand and conostogo rivers. They are both fast moving and shallow at points. If you have a car I would recommend the conostogo river. You can literally catch anything. Trout are pretty much non existant but are there in the lower parts. I would start at the top of the river and work your way down I have caught pike, catfish, carp, smallies and even some walleye. The grand river conservation authority has recently been trying to develope a walleye fishery, they ask if you catch one to report it to them. We caught a 28 inch walleye last summer. There are some BIG fish in the conostogo just watch out for snags on the rocks, the water level is always changing so it keeps it fun. Dams and bridges ar ethe best places to look. Im going to head out and try for some smallies on the fly and never done it , what kind of fly should I use?? (My fly box is posted up a bit)

Streamers and Poppers are what I would use for Bass,

Purple Leech I think in a size 6 works good for me on Bass and Rock Bass even caught afew sunfish on them.

Murddle Minnow(spellings off) in Size 4 or 6 also work

Minnow like streamers work well too

I can not find minnow streamers over 3 inch long anywhere thou, I want some for Pike fishing. I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and buy a Tieing Kit, seen them online foe 35 to 50 dollors, And Tramblys tackle Box In Orilla has a basic kit on for $60.

I went and got some feathers, tread, ect..... from the dollor store and tryed to hand tie with No vice...... That worked out well LOL, got 3 streamer tied but they do not look like anything and I glued my fingers togeather with super glue.
