New to Ontario Fishing

Hi guys

I recently moved from Portugal to Hamilton. Been fishing for years back in my home country. Mostly surfcasting in saltwater and some bottom river fishing. Targeted species there are sea white bream, snooks and plaice. I use mostly live bait: worms, sardine and shrimp.
I know nothing about Ontario fishing, so I have been reading this forum like a maniac since yesterday.
Any tips on gear, types of fishing, licensing etc etc are most welcome. I want to get going asap

First you buy a fishing license from your local tackle shop. When you're there ask them questions about what you want to know.
