Nice surprise at Bronte

Just got back from Bronte pier. Only a few fish rolling on the lake side and no takers so fished inside the harbour. Second cast in by the rocks and hooked up with a 12 -13 lb. brown trout. Great fight and fantastic kype on him. As usual tossing black on green cleos. Son and myself had 3 salmon on resulting in 2 broken lines and I getting off. Not our normal landing percentages but the brown was the highlite of the afternoon. Brown was released to fight another day. Looking at heading up to the Notty next week with float reels and hopefully hooking up with some nice bows. Just about had enough of the chinnies this year . Any body had any success at the Notty?

I am not good with a computer<do not know how to upload> I tried last nite and could not figure it out. I have company coming on Sat, and ask them to help me. I will then post past pics of some chinnies and the brown. I do not no if I am struggling because I have a Mac and it has iphoto loaded into it?

We fish up to Mongomery Rapids all winter
